How we research & recommend
We separate product facts from editorial judgement. Our first guides are research-based; they are not hands-on tests.
What we check
- The product name, variation and US listing identifier.
- Relevant manufacturer instructions and limitations.
- Differences between model generations and regional listings.
- Whether a recommendation fits an identifiable activity and routine.
How we choose
Our current shortlists cover indoor enrichment formats and stainless steel feeding bowls. It is not an exhaustive market ranking. We have not used verified search-volume data or controlled performance testing to rank these products.
What we will not invent
We do not invent test results, expert identities, star ratings, user reviews, discounts or claims of being chew-proof. Sources establish product facts; our suitability comments remain conditional.
Updates and corrections
Each guide shows its update date and source links. Future revisions should identify changes in versions, instructions or availability. Physical testing, when performed, must document the exact product, setting and observations before a testing claim is added.
Commercial relationships
Buying links carry a clear disclosure. Affiliate commissions, if enabled, do not establish that a product is suitable. Unconfigured countries use ordinary retailer links. We do not accept a payment as evidence of quality.
Images and customer feedback
Our homepage, category posters and article scenes are photographic illustrations. They do not show verified branded products, physical tests or real reviewers. Customer feedback is attributed to the retailer where it was read; limited or older comments do not establish a defect rate or universal experience.
